(a total of 8 squares per sheet!). After quilling each design your students can glue them on each square and proudly display their work. HINT: You might want to bring some coasters, frames and other "extras" that they can buy to complete their work. If bought separately the kit would run much more then $39.95!

These mini kits come complete with paper, the tag backing and complete instructions on how to complete each project.
There are 3 Mini Kits available. A snowflake (#020), a poinsettia (#021), and a busy buzzing bee (#022) bringing birthday wishes to some lucky individual.
Snowflake Pattern Folder: The front of the kit says "Quill a snowflake..." on a red background, then inside you see a picture of the snowflake, full instructions, and the paper to complete the project. There is more then enough paper there to finish the snowflake and I had enough left to make a 2nd different snowflake! On the back are basic instructions and some examples of shaped coils.
Christmas Gift Tag Pattern Folder: Quill a Christmas Gift Tag....are the words that greet you on this white background. You open the folded paper and you find in the upper right hand corner a tag to cut out with the words Noel, the perfect backdrop for the Poinsettia you are about to create. There is more then enough paper to finish the poinsettia if you don't have any problems enough for a 2nd one too! On the back are basic instructions and some examples of shaped coils.
Bee-Day Gift Tag Pattern Folder: The paper of this tag is parchment like and greets you with the words Quill a Birthday Gift Tag. The tag inside has the words: Just buzzin by with a birthday Hi! and will be decorated by a wonderful little bee in shades of gold and black! There are complete directions as well as suggestions on where to find more gift tags to complete. On the back are basic instructions and some examples of shaped coils.
These are a perfect project for a beginner class or to send home with your class after they've learned their basic rolls, coils, and scrolls. You can even add a sticker to the front with your name and contact information. An inexpensive way of advertising, that people won't throw out.

Quilling Chart
Lake City Crafts Quilling Charts
These charts from Lake City Craft Company are the perfect tool for the beginning quiller. The charts measure 4.5 inches by 5.5 inches.
There is a place to put an example of each basic type of shaped coils. There is room for both Rolls and Scrolls.
These charts will help your students learn what their coils should look like by referring back to the shapes they created while being taught by you. Using 3 inch lengths of 1/8 inch wide papers they will learn to create 12 shapes. These basic shapes are the building blocks of good quilling.
